Go now! Add a charmingly diminutive print to your collection.

I’ve been quite the absentee landlord of this space for the past few weeks. Still haven’t much new (maybe a few drawings will be forthcoming), so I am going to share some of the praise that has come through from folks who’ve purchased the map on Etsy…

“The product was everything I thought it would be, and a bit cooler. I also appreciated the prints that were included and even the envelope was very cool. It was a great purchase–I hope there are more similar offerings that I can buy in the future!”

“One of the most creative things I’ve ever come across! Please make more stuff!”

“Really great item. Design is amazing, and the quality of product is equally as fantastic. Love it!”

“…the map is wonderful. The details — including the stamps on the card — are great fun.”

Noticed I got an editor’s pick this morning, Calendria having been featured on this blog entry on Etsy. And I noticed too late, apparently, as there was a sudden jump in traffic to my etsy shop yesterday and the calendars were sold out of the shop overnight! Poor timing! But more have been added today.

Thanks to the folks over at “Under Consideration” for featuring the calendar-map on their design blog, For Print Only (FPO). Exciting! An excerpt:

“With one side featuring the intricate and finely detailed map, and the other a subtle and muted calendar peppered with old-style characteristics, this piece should keep your discovery level high as you encounter the minutiae and read the inspired copy.”

For the record (I’m adding this on January 5, 2010), I tallied up the hours spent on the calendar-map itself and on its attendant web site and the total was 225 hours between May and October; the web site hours added up to 20 of those.

A NEW ONLINE GALLERY AND SHOP:

I have opened up a second shop on our trusty Esty; this one dedicated to paintings, printed matter– “and other nonsense of the highest order.” Click the image [or here] to go have a look. More items will be added steadily.

Another busy day. I’ve added some new things to my etsy shop over the past couple of days, with more to come tomorrow, so go do some holiday shopping! (Expedited shipping is available– convo  before buying…)

Also signed up to a new server today and began the transfer process. Since I’ve haven’t done this before, there were a few glitches and my email was being bounced for a couple of hours, so if you’re someone who tried to email me today- It’s fixed now!

Compass cufflinks and matted art prints of the coats of arms for the twelve sovereignties are in the shop. So far only four months’ worth of art prints are up, but the remaining ten are in progress!  Click here to go to the shop. Go now! Also soon to be added: some art prints– screen-printed, moody.

45 Etsians now calling electrofork a favorite, and I can’t keep enough necklaces in stock to get past a single page of listed items! (not a complaint.) So, I have loads of new materials on the way and will be creating more necklaces, plus earrings (all sterling) as well as cufflinks (sterling and silverplate). Whoo hoo!

Now back to work.

Go see the jewelry shop!
